To ensure your premium sleep experience is protected for years to come, we provide a comprehensive, transparent Limited Warranty and customizable add-on protection plans for the original purchaser.

1. Eligibility & Activation

Original Purchaser Privileges

This warranty policy applies exclusively to the original consumer purchaser ("Original Purchaser") who bought the product directly from the official COLASNEST website (colasnest.com) or an authorized retail channel. Warranty benefits are strictly tied to the identity of the original purchaser and automatically terminate upon transfer, secondhand resale, or gifting to others.

Warranty Effective Date

The coverage period for all base warranties and extended/add-on services begins on the official delivery date as indicated by the carrier's tracking logistics.

2. Base Warranty Period

We provide tiered Limited Warranty support tailored to the core product categories under the COLASNEST brand:

A. Mattresses & Bed-in-a-Box Series

  • Innerspring/Coil System — 10-Year Limited Warranty: Covers broken coils, sagging, or severe physical deformation caused exclusively by defects in materials or manufacturing under normal use and proper foundational support.
  • Foam Layers, Comfort Layers, and Fabric Covers — 3-Year Limited Warranty: Covers broken zippers due to manufacturing flaws, non-accidental cracking of memory foam/latex that conforms to industry standards, and permanent indentations greater than 1.5 inches (approx. 3.8 cm) when measured on a properly supported foundation.

B. Bed Frames

  • 3-Year Limited Warranty: Covers frame structural breakage, core connector/hardware failures, and the collapse of main load-bearing components under normal use, excluding impacts from external forces.

C. Mattress Toppers

  • 1-Year Limited Warranty: Covers non-accidental physical splitting/cracking of foam materials, fabric manufacturing defects, and physical zipper failures under normal usage conditions.

D. Pillows & Blankets

1-Year Limited Warranty:

  • Pillows: Covers non-accidental splitting or cracking of the pillow core/insert due to material defects, ripped stitching, and other manufacturing flaws.
  • Blankets: Covers severe fraying along the edges, broken or missing core quilting stitches, and significant clumping, shifting, or leaking of internal fillings (e.g., fiber, down) when laundered strictly according to the care label instructions.

3. Warranty Coverages & Exclusions

A. Proper Foundational Support Requirement (Mandatory Condition)

This warranty is valid only if the product is used in a normal, residential home environment and paired with an appropriate, stable, and sufficiently supportive bed frame or foundation. For larger sizes (such as Queen and King), the frame must include a rigid center support leg. Damages caused by using incompatible slatted bases, placement directly on floors, or foundations lacking adequate center support constitute improper use and will void this warranty.

B. Core Exclusions (What is Not Covered)

The following circumstances resulting in product damage are strictly excluded from base warranty coverage:

  1. Normal Wear and Tear: Naturally occurring physical aging over time, including normal softening of foam materials, slight reduction in elasticity, fabric pilling, wrinkling, or fading.
  2. Accidental and Environmental Damage: Any damage including but not limited to stains, liquid spills or moisture penetration (liquids can degrade foam structures), mold, odors, pet damage (chewing, scratching), burns, cuts, smoke damage, or physical damage caused by improper moving, transit, or non-residential use.
  3. Unauthorized Alterations: Products that have been disassembled, sewn, altered, repaired, or modified by the consumer, or fabric covers that have shrunk or deformed due to washing against label instructions.
  4. Medical Conditions & Subjective Dissatisfaction: Requests for replacement due to changes in personal sleep preferences, changes in comfort preference (firmness/softness), or personal health/medical conditions (e.g., back pain). Subjective dissatisfaction is only handled during the "Sleep Trial Period" under our Return & Refund Policy and cannot be used as a valid claim once the trial period has expired.

4. Commercial-Grade Accidental Damage Protection

To provide clients seeking ultimate peace of mind with protection that goes beyond standard "manufacturing defects," COLASNEST offers an exclusive Commercial-Grade Accidental Damage Protection Plan, fully managed and fulfilled by our brand.

A. Purchase & Pricing Terms

Customers can optionally add this protection plan at the time of purchasing their bedding products. Once purchased and after the official sleep trial period expires, this service fee is non-refundable, even in the event of a subsequent product return. Pricing is fixed based on a percentage of the final product purchase price:

  • 1-Year Accidental Protection: Service fee equals 30% of the final product price.
  • 3-Year Accidental Protection: Service fee equals 50% of the final product price.
  • 5-Year Accidental Protection: Service fee equals 70% of the final product price.

B. Core Protection Coverage (Complementary to Base Warranty)

For orders covered under an active Accidental Protection Plan, COLASNEST will provide free repair services or component replacements during the protection term for unintentional, accidental damage excluded from the base warranty, including:

  • Moisture or stains caused by accidental liquid spills, coffee, or beverages during daily use.
  • Localized fabric tears, accidental zipper damage, or physical structural damage caused by external forces.
  • Accidental clawing or scratching by household pets.
Note: Accidental protection strictly excludes malicious damage, severe negligence, extreme dirtiness due to a chronic lack of maintenance, and normal wear and tear beyond the coverage limits.

5. Warranty Shipping Fees & Double-Win Mechanism

COLASNEST enforces transparent policies dividing reverse logistics and shipping costs based on the timing of your claim:

A. Within the Sleep/Trial Period (Return & Exchange Stage)

Within the official trial period specified for each product category (365 days for mattresses/compression beds; 15 days for pillows/toppers), any manufacturing quality issues fall under the scope of our Return & Refund Policy. Customers can directly apply for a refund or return. COLASNEST will cover 100% of the reverse pickup, recycling, and shipping costs according to our standard Shipping Policy; customers will not pay any logistics fees.

B. Outside the Sleep/Trial Period (Warranty Claims Stage)

Once a product exceeds its official trial period, any application due to quality issues will automatically be processed through this warranty framework. To prevent fraudulent claims and maintain operational efficiency in our overseas fulfillment centers, we implement a "Double-Win Return" shipping mechanism:

  1. Upfront Processing Fee: To file a base warranty claim, the customer must pay an upfront $100 inspection and reverse logistics administrative fee to COLASNEST.
  2. Verified Defect (Full Refund & Free Replacement): Upon receiving the returned item at the COLASNEST Overseas Fulfillment Center (or verifying via official video evaluation/authorized third-party inspection), if the product is confirmed to have a valid manufacturing defect, material defect, or quality flaw covered by the base warranty, COLASNEST will issue a full refund of the $100 upfront fee within 3 business days and ship a brand-new replacement of the identical model at zero cost.
  3. User-Inflicted Damage or Normal Wear (Non-Refundable & No Replacement): If multi-angle high-definition risk control reviews or physical testing prove the damage is due to normal wear and tear, or user error/environmental factors (and the order does not carry a corresponding "Commercial-Grade Accidental Protection Plan"), the $100 fee will be retained to offset the carrier shipping and administrative costs. No refund will be issued, and no free repair or replacement will be provided.

6. How to File a Warranty Claim

If your product experiences an issue within the warranty period and you need to file a claim, please email the complete documentation listed below to our official customer support team at service@colasnest.com:

  • 1. Proof of Purchase: Your order number (from colasnest.com) and the original email address used to place the order. All transactions are subject to our standard Terms of Service.
  • 2. Photos of Bed Frame: Clear, multi-angle photos showing the bed frame, slatted base, or foundation currently used with the product (to verify proper structural support).
  • 3. Photos/Videos of the Defect:
    • For Sagging/Indentation Claims: Unzip and remove the mattress cover (if applicable), place the mattress on a completely flat floor, lay a straight edge or broomstick flat across the sagged area, and use a standard measuring tape to measure the vertical distance from the bottom of the straight edge to the deepest point of the indentation. Take a clear photo/video where the measurement lines are readable.
    • For Component and Fabric Damage: Provide clear, high-definition, multi-angle photos or videos showing broken coils, fabric flaws, or damaged zipper areas.
  • 4. Anti-Fraud Policy: COLASNEST reserves the absolute right to request the product to be shipped back to our official overseas fulfillment center for final physical testing. If a customer fails to provide valid documentation, refuses to pay the upfront inspection fee, or refuses to cooperate by providing the necessary photographic evidence, the warranty claim process cannot be initiated.
